Kala Arts CIC was honoured to be part of Leicester’s first Windrush Tea Party, hosted by Opal 22 on the Square in collaboration with Leicester Museums and Galleries.

As part of the celebrations, we worked with the community to create a beautiful collaborative mosaic — a joyful tribute to the strength, legacy, and culture of the Windrush generation.

It was a heartfelt day filled with stories, creativity, and connection — a true celebration of heritage and community spirit.
